Bedford Inn Room Rates

Voted one of the top five bed and breakfasts in Cape May, each of the 10 rooms and suites at the Bedford Inn offer private, newly renovated bathrooms with complimentary artisanal rosemary and mint amenities for your use. Full Buffet Breakfast. Our rates are some of the most competitive in town.

Rate Policies

  • 3 night minimum on weekends Mid June until Mid October

  • 2 night minimum on weekends Mid October until Mid June

  • Deposit Required is 50% of the room charges to secure a reservation

  • Please note that all reservations starting January 1, 2025 will have a service fee of 3.5% when paying with credit card. This fee is automatically applied and can be removed if you pay by cash, check, or money order. 

  • Check In in 3pm-5pm

  • Self check-in after 5pm

  • Checkout is 11am

  • Add No pets

Our Cancellation Policy

Cancellations: We DO NOT accept cancellations via email. Please notify us by phone if you must change or cancel your reservation at least 21 days prior to your scheduled check-in date. If you cancel after this date, we will refund your deposit only if the room can be re-rented in full. If you cancel your reservation within 24 hours of the scheduled arrival time, you will be responsible for the room charges for your entire reservation (your credit card will be charged). All deposit refunds are subject to a $25 (plus tax) administrative fee. Management is not responsible for cancellations due to illness, family emergencies, work conflicts, or inclement weather.

Last minute cancellations are usually due to a serious health issue, a family death, or some other family related situations. While we understand that these things are outside a guest’s control, please understand that we cannot waive our policy for these tragic events.  We cannot accept the financial responsibility for your misfortune.  As always, we will make every effort possible to re-rent the room and extend you a credit or refund if we are successful.

Weather Related Cancellations: We will only waive our cancellation policy for a weather related event that is declared a State of Emergency or when a Mandatory Evacuation has been ordered. Otherwise, a rainy or snowy day is never a bad day at The Bedford Inn.

PARKING:

Parking can be a challenge in Cape May, especially in the summer months. Luckily, Stockton Ave. does not have meters so you can park on the street of our Inn for the duration of your visit. We also have 4-5 spaces on the left side of the Inn in our brick driveway. If you choose to park in the driveway, please park up against the hedges on the left or on the stones in the back to ensure other guests can get in and out. Once parked, you can walk to most area attractions. If you arrive and cannot find a place to park, pull into our driveway on the right side of the Inn (marked for loading/unloading) and we will help you get situated. If you return after 10PM you may park in a metered space on Howard St. free of charge until 10AM the following morning.
